Nimbus Editing likes to make things simple, which is why we charge by the word so you know the cost of the edit up front.
Copyediting is 1.9¢ per word.

DISCOUNTS
Length: Nimbus Editing gives a 2% discount per 10,000 words, up to 100,000 words. (This also applies to the cumulative word-count of all documents included in one submission.)
Referrals: Refer a new customer and have them mention your name in the comments of their document submission. We'll credit you 20% of the value of their edit!
Students: Correspond with Nimbus Editing with your .edu email address, and receive a 10% student discount.
Blogs: Nimbus Editing offers discounts to bloggers based on the frequency and length of their typical posts. Discount is between 5 and 20%.
DEPOSIT
Nimbus Editing requires a deposit of 50% on edits valued above $30 before work can begin.
MINIMUM FEE
Unlike our competitors, Nimbus Editing requires no minimum fee so that you can feel comfortable submitting documents of any type or length.
